Event Production

Before the lights, camera, action it’s up to the event production to plan out and tie up all the loose ends. As a producer for The Moms and my own special events, it comes down to staying cool and keeping a smile when chaos arises behind the scenes. Sometimes you just have to pull out the mental curtain and cover up the the million and one situations going on as  everything goes on at lightning speed! Seamlessly bringing The Moms mission to life  through Mamarazzi town hall events, it’s our second nature to create memorable and magnetic moments through discussions, celebrity guests and the everyday woman’s voice. Delivering full venue transformations, talent preparations and engaging digital campaigns, it is magic in the making as our teams creates the ultimate experience for a nationwide audience.

The MOMS: MathMOMS Mamarazzi

Who knew Math could be so much fun?  Apparently Mathnasium has known for the longest time, because they make Math make sense.  As simple as that sounds, I can attest that every child learns differently and what can make sense to one doesn’t always for all.  My son attended a math program, that was so stuck on teaching him the basics of 1+1, that he quickly became frustrated and we soon had to cancel the program. However, partaking in a…

Crafting and Snacking with Wonderful Halos

Cold wintery days are definitely the norm this season. That makes no matter, because as New Yorkers we never let the climate affect our plans. We headed down to the Children’s Museum of the Arts to get crafty with MomTrends and Wonderful Halos on possibly the coldest day this winter. The room was setup with workstations for each child which included a very cool cylindrical container which I have already repurposed in my office, (more on that later).  Inside was another cool fabric…

Tilt Kids Festival

By Mary Wassner at Downtown Chic Moms Let the party begin!

This festival really brought in the crowds last Saturday on the streets of Brooklyn, NY. As I waited in line, the crowds of families poured themselves through the door to an eye popping display of colorfully painted, torn, taped, creased and reassembled sheets of paper hanging from the ceiling and the walls of the rustic art center, The Invisible Dog. Once I managed to make my way inside, I…
