What are affiliate links?
An affiliate link is special link that contains my own ID. When you purchase and item using the affiliate link I receive a small commission from the company.
Affiliate programs often allow me to offer special deals or pricing to my readers, so it can save you money too!
I only share links to items that I own or have used myself and know to be of great quality and interest to my readers. Commisions from affiliate purchases help to cover the costs of running The Shady Lane, such as web hosting and image software. It also helps me to purchase items I think may be interesting to my readers, so that I can provide reviews.
