While I’m Catholic and have been to countless churches, no one had ever taken the time to explain the stories behind the sacred images on the walls.

The nun at Holy Protection had such patience and grace—she walked us through the parables and Bible stories in every corner, each icon rich with meaning. And when the Holy Spirit gently took over my emotions, she looked at me with such kindness and simply said, ‘Take a breath, it’s ok, “

The peace, the prayers, the beauty—it truly was a divine revelation for me.
Grateful for the unexpected blessings and the opportunity to share this sacred space with a dear friend.
