Having an 8 year old boy in the house along with a grown husband, I will admit the bathroom talk is endless. Its somewhat hysterical to talk poop and all other grossness! Who Knew? However sometimes it does get a little too much for us very feminine females in the house and we get grossed out. So we of course were very happy to attend and maybe have the boys learn a clean joke or two when Charmin hosted a live comedy show with comedian and improv artist, Wayne Brady, on Tuesday, August 25, 2015 in New York City.
The showcase kicked off with a father/daugther one word skit, and was hysterical! Wayne and his 12 year old daughter Maile kicked off the show with a one word improv skit, and you can clearly see she takes after her dad. Brady then rapped using a topic/random words the audience tossed out, like the man is talented.
The Potty Humor Live showcase allowed young competing comedians age 14-18 the opportunity to showcase their best clean potty humor skits to a live audience. After a very funny skit of going.. but not admitting to going in a friends bathroom, two New York City High School Students Heaven and Cristal along with their school’s theater department to help further their comedic educations, were awarded the grand prize of $5,000.0 and deemed the winners of the ‘Keep It Clean Comedy Show’.
Charmin and Brady are also encouraging people at home to get involved by tweeting their best clean #PottyHumor jokes to @Charmin. For each tweet received throughout the month of September, the brand will be donating $1 to Ronald McDonald House Charities® (RMHC), up to $10,000. RMHC provides stability and vital resources to families so they can get, and keep, their children healthy and happy through programs like Ronald McDonald House, Ronald McDonald Family Room and Ronald McDonald Care Mobile that enable family-centered care.
