I am not one to ever give my kids candy. Never. So its only fitting for me to love the two parents and successful entrepreneurs Crystal and Michael Boyle who came up with the idea for The Sugar Goblin. Their realization that their children collected far more candy on Halloween than they should eat led to the creation of the Sugar Goblin. Like me they wanted to limit the intake of the sweet stuff but yet find a way to extend the Halloween holiday tradition.
With that being said you can only imagine my excitement when I received the Sugar Goblin. As the story goes the Sugar Goblin plays silly tricks to obtain treats on Halloween! The Sugar Goblins are ready to bring back their favorite tradition of pranks, jokes and fun, and clearly you know I am ready to hand over any candy treats they are interested in.
The Sugar Goblin inspires kids to exchange their candy for fun pranks and presents.
We graciously, (insert big pearly white smile from mom) invited our Sugar Goblin into our home, and I couldnt be happier. Packaged with The Sugar Goblin plush toy, is the charmingly illustrated story book. Your little ones will love to read the story, which tells the tale of how long it has been since the Sugar Goblins played silly tricks to get treats on Halloween. Candy is the only thing that sugar goblins eat, and with their stash of candy running low, they want to bring back the tradition of pranks, jokes and fun.
Since then it has been nothing but laughs and giggles and eager littles running through the house to witness what sort of chaos the Sugar Goblin has created for them. Of course the husband and I have clearly taken on the task of creating said chaos but it has given him and I a giggle, on some times stressful days, before turning in for the night.
Although we are enjoying the pranks and laughter the key to the equation here is none of this occurs without the kids giving up their sugary sweets (Mom WIN), I mean a Sugar Goblin has to eat after all! Yes I know you want to thank me for introducing you to the Sugar Goblin and for saving your little peoples teeth. Your welcome xo.
Oops before I forget, as a show of appreciation, you the parentals leave behind a gift for the children, on behalf of a sugar goblin, in exchange for the candy.
The Sugar Goblin storybook and plush toy package is designed for children ages 4-8 and will be available soon at Amazon.com for $29.99. It will be coming to Target.com soon.
